What this policy covers
This policy covers this website, nadwell.ai, which Nadwell AI operates from Denver, Colorado. It says what the site collects when you visit it, and what happens to a project request if you send one, including how we follow it up. The site has no accounts and no client area.
What this website collects
The site does not ask you to sign in and does not ask for any information just to read it. Our web server writes a log line for each request. It includes details such as the page requested, the time, the response status and a request identifier. The log system keeps these lines for about a week.
Cookies and similar technology
This website’s own code sets no cookies. Apart from what the “Counting visits” section at the end of this policy describes, it loads no advertising or tracking scripts or content from other sites, and the fonts are served by us. The one thing the site saves on your device is your light, dark or automatic display choice, which it keeps in your browser’s local storage. That choice stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Cloudflare delivers the site (see the next section) and may add its own security or measurement features, including cookies or scripts, that we do not control. Its privacy policy describes them.
Service providers
Cloudflare delivers and protects the site. To do that it processes your IP address and the details of your request, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Connections to the site use HTTPS.
If you send us a project request
If you send a project request, we receive the name, company, work email address, description of what you need and message that you enter, plus the budget range and timeline if you choose them. The form also sends the page you came to the site from, the first page you opened here and any campaign tags in that page’s address (such as utm_source), so we know which pages and newsletters bring requests. The request is sent by email, through Fastmail, to the studio’s own mailbox, which is hosted by Google. Their policies are at Fastmail and Google.
Once the email has gone, we also keep the request in our own database, on servers we run, to follow it up as a sales enquiry: where it stands (for example, quote sent), the messages we send you about it, the dates you replied, and our own notes. It is not written to server logs. We use what you send only to reply to you, to follow up if we have not heard back, and to scope or propose work. We send at most three follow-up emails after our last message, and none once you reply or ask us to stop.
To prepare our replies faster, we send your request and our notes on it to Anthropic’s Claude, an AI service, which drafts a reply. A person at Nadwell AI reads and edits every draft, and nothing is sent to you until they do. Anthropic handles that text under its privacy policy and its commercial terms. Our replies are sent through Fastmail.
How long we keep it
The copy of a project request in our mailbox is kept for about two years and then deleted. The record in our database, with the messages and notes about it, is kept while we are talking about your project and for up to two years after our last message, then deleted. If you become a client, it moves into your project record. Ask us and we delete it sooner, with everything kept about it. Web server log lines are kept for about a week.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising. We share it only with the providers named in this policy, and only so that they can deliver the site or the email or draft our replies, unless the law requires it.
Your questions and requests
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do so, reply to any email we sent you, or use the Start a project form on the home page and say that your message is a privacy request. We do not promise a response deadline in this policy.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date at the top of the page, which shows when the current text took effect.
Counting visits
This site does not count visits and does not collect analytics about them. It loads no analytics script.
