What custom software is
Custom software is built for one business: your customers, your team, your data and the way you already work. Instead of bending your process to fit a product built for everyone, the software fits you. It can be a customer-facing web app, a mobile app for your crew in the field, a desktop app for the office, or new features added to a system you already run.
Who it is for
- Owners whose business has outgrown spreadsheets, email threads and a stack of disconnected tools.
- Founders with an idea who need a first version, an MVP, working in front of real users.
- Companies whose existing app works but whose backlog keeps growing.
- Teams whose data lives in five places and needs to move into one.
Custom software vs off-the-shelf
Off-the-shelf software is quick to start and fine when your process is the same as everyone else’s. It gets expensive when you pay for features you never use, work around the ones you need, or copy data between tools by hand. Custom software costs more up front, but it does exactly what your business needs, it grows when you grow, and you own it outright. A good rule of thumb: if the way you work is part of what makes your business better, the software should fit it.
20+ projects delivered
We have built more than 20 projects for our clients, from first versions of new products to new features in apps that have run for years. The examples on our Work page are illustrative, written to show how the process fits different kinds of projects.
What it costs and how quotes work
There is no price list, because no two projects have the same pieces. After the interview, we break your software into small working pieces and price each one, so your quote is fixed and itemised. You decide what goes into the first version. A short paid discovery confirms the scope with a clickable mock, you see the delivery plan and milestones, and nothing is built until you pay the deposit.
We work with businesses in Denver, across Colorado and across the United States.
